Privacy Policy

This website is published by FINUNIVERSE PRIVATE LIMITED, a private limited company registered in India at D.No 58-1-253/7, 2nd Floor, Ganesh Nagar, NAD Kotta Road, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh 530009. Where this page says “we”, “us” or “our”, it means that company. Our registration numbers are printed at the foot of this page.

This policy covers this website only. It does not cover the paperwork you fill in at a counter. When you use a banking service at one of our counters, the bank or institution behind that service collects your details under its own rules, and its privacy policy applies to them. Ask at the counter which bank you are dealing with.

Nothing that identifies you. There is no account to create, no login, no payment page, no analytics and no advertising on this site. We do not know who visits it, and we do not build a picture of your visit.

The branch search

Whatever you type into the branch search — a PIN code, a town, a district — is carried in the page address (/branches?q=530009), so the page can show the right list, and so the link still works if you reload it or send it to somebody. We do not store it and we do not attach it to you. As with any page on any website, the request itself is handled by the service that hosts this site, which keeps ordinary technical logs.

The opening animation

On your first arrival your browser keeps one note to itself — a session storage entry named fu-intro — so the opening animation does not play again while your tab is open. It is not a cookie, it never leaves your device, we never read it, and it disappears when you close the tab.

We receive only what you decide to send: an email to contact.finuniverse@gmail.com, or a phone call to one of our numbers. That may include your name, your phone number, your email address, the branch you are asking about, and whatever else you choose to write or say.

We use it for one thing — to answer your enquiry and, if it leads to a service, to arrange it. We do not add you to a mailing list. We do not sell, rent or trade anything you send. We pass it on only to a bank, institution or service provider where that is necessary to do the thing you asked for, or where the law requires it.

Please do not email us your full account number, your card number, your PIN, your password or an OTP. Nobody from FINUNIVERSE will ever ask you to tell us a PIN, a password or an OTP — not by email, not on the phone, not at the counter.

We keep emails for as long as we need them to deal with the matter and to meet our record-keeping duties. If you want your message removed from our mailbox, ask us and we will do it, unless a law or a bank’s own record requires us to keep it.

The form on the contact page is a way of writing an email, not a way of sending one. When you fill it in and press the button, nothing is transmitted to us and nothing is transmitted to any server. Your own device opens your own email app, with the message already written out and addressed to us. Nothing reaches us until you press send there yourself.

There is no database behind that form, because nothing ever arrives at one. It also means that if your device has no email app set up, the message will not go anywhere — in that case, please phone the number on the page instead.

Google Maps

Branch pages and the contact page show a map embedded from Google Maps so you can see where the counter is. When that map loads, your browser contacts Google directly, and Google can see your IP address and the usual details any web request carries. That is Google’s service, under Google’s own privacy policy, not ours — we receive nothing from it. If you would rather not load it, the written address, the phone number and the directions link on the same page will still get you there.

Our mailbox

contact.finuniverse@gmail.com is a Gmail address. Email you send us therefore passes through and is stored on Google’s mail service, under Google’s terms, before we read it. If you would rather not use email, phone us.

Typefaces and pictures

The two typefaces this site uses are built into the site when it is published and are served from this website, so your browser makes no request to a font service while you read. Every picture and every drawing on the site is served from this website too.

This website sets no cookies. None for advertising, none for measuring traffic, none to recognise you on a later visit. That is why you were not asked to accept any — there is nothing to accept. The only thing kept on your device is the single session note described above, and it clears itself when you close the tab.

Because the site itself collects nothing, in most cases we hold nothing about you at all. If you have emailed or called us, you may ask what we still have, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Please use the same email address or phone number you contacted us from, so that we can be reasonably sure it is you.

If your question is about details a bank holds — an account, a transaction, a KYC record — we cannot change those. Tell us which service and which counter, and we will tell you which bank to approach.

If you are unhappy about the way information is handled here, write to contact.finuniverse@gmail.com with “Privacy” in the subject line, or call either number below. We have not published a separate grievance officer’s name; that mailbox and those numbers reach the people who can deal with it. Tell us what happened and how to reach you, and we will reply to you directly.

If any of this changes, we will rewrite this page and change the date at the top of it. There is no mailing list to notify you from, so that date is the record. The version on this page is the one that applies.
